MOS / Temperament Finder
×
This app visualizes MOS (Moment of Symmetry) scales across the generator spectrum. Each colored band is a MOS pattern. Use the Period dropdown to explore sub-octave and multi-octave periods.
To get started: click a colored band to select a MOS, then click the number line (the cent axis at the top with tick marks) to set your generator size. This opens the full explorer with a circle diagram, synth, temperament info, and interval rulers.
The cent axis is the main horizontal number line running across the top of the screen — it shows generator size in cents.
